Ilhan Omar, the US representative for Minnesota's fifth congressional district, has criticised the murdered conservative activist Charlie Kirk's political viewers. According to the American politician, she is "f-ed up" seeing people remembering Kirk as someone with a core mission to have polite political debates.

The Somali-American refugee turned lawmaker blamed the TurningPoint USA founder for escalating violence. She accused Kirk of being insensitive about slavery, the school shootings, and George Floyd's death. The far-left congresswoman also blamed Kirk for opposing Juneteenth. Omar shared her opinions about Kirk during an interview with outlet Zeteo.

"Charlie was someone who once said Guns save lives after a school shooting. Charlie was someone who was willing to debate and downplay the death of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis Police. Downplayed slavery and what black people have gone through in this country by saying Juneteenth should never exist. And I think there are a lot of people out there talking about him just wanting to have a civil debate. There is nothing more f-ed up than to completely pretend that his words and actions have not been recorded and in existence for the last decade or so. These people are full of shit, and it's important for us to call them out," the democratic Minnesota representative said.

Charlie Kirk's Death

Kirk was shot dead on Wednesday (September 10) while addressing the attendees of the TPUSA event on the campus of Utah Valley University. The event was held as part of his American Comeback Tour at his signature Prove Me Wrong table. The manhunt continues for the gunman, with the FBI in Salt Lake City releasing new photos and videos of the killer. The images feature a young adult male in a black sweatshirt with an American flag print, paired with denim pants, sunglasses, and a dark cap.

"We are asking for the public's help identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University," the post on X ( formerly Twitter) read.

The authorities recently released a new video of the suspect on Friday (September 12). The short clip shows him fleeing from the scene after the shoot. The investigators also released several new photos and videos of the suspect, seeking the public's help to identify the person.

Utah Governor Spencer Cox also asked people to help the investigators identify Kirk's murderer with the photos and videos released by the authorities.
