Singapore: 25-year-old man stomped on at Golden Mile Complex; suspect arrested

The police says that the victim was conscious when to a hospital.

A 27-year-old suspect was arrested for stomping on a 25-year-old man multiple times at Golden Mile Complex on Beach Road in Singapore, the police said on Saturday. The authorities added that the victim was conscious when to a hospital.

According to reports, the incident was captured in a 49-second video that went viral. The clip showed the suspect in a white T-shirt stomping the victim repeatedly while the victim was seen curled on the floor outside a shop.

Although a few other men circled the victim and passers-by were looking on but none of them were seen intervening into the matter during the video was being captured.

On Saturday, the police confirmed that there were informed about the case of voluntarily causing grievous hurt at around 3 am on Wednesday.

The police said that the investigations are going on.
