Nintendo Switch owners, who are yet to get their hands on the interesting fighting game, Arms, now have another opportunity to try it out for free. The Arms Global Testpunch demo has returned for this weekend and is live now.
While the previous Arms Testpunch event was only available during specific time blocks during a day, this weekend's global demo will run continuously until Sunday afternoon. The Testpunch has already begun from August 25 at 11 AM ET (11 PM SST) and it will end on August 27 on at 4 PM ET (August 28, 4 AM SST).
During this Arms Global Testpunch demo players will be able to out selected Arms characters, which include Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, and Twintelle. They will also be able to take part in face offs against other gamers online in regular, Hoops, and Skillshot matches.
Also to note, Nintendo has recently unveiled the second free DLC character for Arms - the street-performing candy-themed clown, Lola Pop. Lola's hair and arms resemble candy and her abilities include inflating her body to increase her defense. She also appears in the game with three brand new sets of Arms; one is a shield that is able to reflect opponents' attacks back at them, while another fires a trio of stamps that obstruct your opponent's vision.
Although the date for Lola to appear in the Nintendo fighting game has not been disclosed yet by the Japanese gaming company, however, it has been confirmed that this new character will be rolling out to all Arms players via a "future update." This upcoming update into the game will also add a new free stage, which is likewise candy-themed.
