The five games, which have been launched this week on the console, include Severed, Rocket Fist, Phantom Trigger, The King of Fighters 2000 and Ironcast and for next week gamers are looking forward to getting their hands on Sonic Mania in Switch.

While none of these games are at par with the likes of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, or Splatoon 2 in terms of hype, but these games most certainly provide the variety to the console, which is needed to keep it exciting and up to date.

Severed is a slightly different game compared to others, as it's only playable in a handheld. The game is currently available in Nintendo eShop for £14.99.

While the game will be released on August 15 on PS4 and Xbox One along with Nintendo Switch, the PC gamers will have to wait till August 29 to get the game.

To compensate the delay, the developers are giving a special offer to the PC gamers. Anyone who pre orders Sonic Mania PC before August 15 will receive a Steam key for the original Sonic the Hedgehog. I t also applies for the PC owners of Sonic Mania Collector's Edition.
