A 25-year-old man from Kerala, India has squashed 124 coconuts with his bare hands in less than a minute creating a new world record. The Guinness World Records is expected to recognise his feat in six months' time.

Abeesh Domanic, a mechanic of Kerala State Road Transport Corp, broke the coconuts in a span of 50 seconds at an event held in Sobha City in Thrissur. The time limit stipulated for a record was 60 seconds. The event was organised by Thrissur Mayor Ajitha Jayarajan.

Manorama Online reported that he smashed a total of 145 fruits, but the number of coconuts fully smashed was 124. The previous record in this category was created by Muhamed Kahrimanovic of Germany for smashing 118 coconuts within a minute.

Domanic has also been featured at Universal Record Forum, Limca Book of Records, RecordSetter Book of World Records, and the Assist World Record for breaking hockey sticks and helmets with bare hands. He also created a record by pulling a bus for 50 meters (0.05 km) using his teeth.
