Pokémon GO: Australia-exclusive Kangaskhan to be released in 46 European cities

Pokémon GO's anniversary event in Europe brings Kangaskhan.

Niantic has officially announced on Friday via official Pokémon GO blog that Kangakshan and Unown are finally coming to select European cities. The rollout will commence this weekend until 21 August.

Pokémon GO trainers in Europe, better get ready to haunt two of the most elusive creatures to add in the Pokédex. Australia exclusive Kangakshan and rare Pokémon Unown will be up for grabs in 46 cities in Europe in line with Safari Zone, Pokémon GO's first-anniversary event in the region.

IBTimes SG on Tuesday already drafted the new update of Safari Zone schedule of events. In partnership with Unibail-Rodamco shopping centres, seven establishments have already been confirmed for the said event, all happening on the weekends of 12 August and 19 August.

TheSilphRoad released a map of all cities in Europe participating in the Safari Zone event. Check out the list below for the complete list of 46 participating cities across the region where Kangakshan will also be available.

The Pokémon GO Park event is also happening in Yokohama, Japan on 9-15 August. Niantic will pull Mr. Mime and Farfetch'd over.

In related news, speculations arise that Niantic will be relaunching Pokémon GO in China soon after a tourist was able to find three Pokémon in the city of Taiyuan.
