OnePlus 3 and 3T touch latency problem has now been officially fixed, according to a recent tweet by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei. Pei has confirmed the availability of an official fix for the nagging input-lag issue on the OnePlus handsets without actually revealing its release date.

Pei has indicated a 'tick' mark alongside the words "Touch latency" in his recent message on Twitter. He has also added another clock symbol next to "Alert Slider" in the second line of his message, hinting at more upcoming features for the phone's alert slider button in the future.

Although there is no word on the exact release window for the latency fix, it is likely to be rolled out as part of a major update comprising latest security patches, instead of featuring it as a standalone OTA update.

It may be recalled that an earlier attempt at fixing the latency issue on the affected OnePlus handsets did not materialise via Android Nougat update. Nevertheless, anxious OnePlus 3/3T users may keep a tab on the OnePlus forums to find out when the fix might actually come out.
