Thousands of North Koreans staged a massive demonstration in Pyongyang on Wednesday (9 August), denouncing the latest UN sanctions against the Kim Jong-un regime. The sanctions will see the reclusive states $3bn (£2.3bn) annual export revenue being slashed by a third.
