Nokia 9 rumours: Smartphone to have 6 GB RAM, 22 MP dual lense camera and more

Nokia 9 is also expected to boast a finger print sensor and a IP68 dust and water resistance

Nokia's comeback into the mobile industry has been the talk of the town following their release of budget-oriented Nokia 3, 5, 6 and the revamped Nokia 3310. Currently, the speculations and rumours are doing rounds over the internet regarding Nokia's upcoming big release – Nokia 9.

The mentioned smartphone is believed to possess some seriously advanced features, which include iris Scanner, Carl Zeiss cameras and a QuadHD 5.5 inch OLED display, reported Nokiapoweruser. The publication also claimed to have received information that says this flagship smartphone may be the first device to feature "Nokia OZO audio" enhancements.

Nokia 9 is supposed to sport a 22MP dual lens Carl Zeiss rear camera paired with a 12MP front facing camera. Additionally, the smartphone will boast an Iris Scanner just like in the latest Samsung Galaxy S8, a finger print sensor and dust and water resistance of IP68 level.

Along with that, Nokia 9 is also speculated to pack Snapdragon 835 processor, Adreno 540 GPU, a massive 6GB RAM, 3,800mAh battery with QuickCharge 4 support, 64 GB of internal storage (expandable upto 126 GB) and Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box.

Other than Nokia 9 the company is also scheduled to launch two more high-end premium smartphones later this year, dubbed Nokia 7 and Nokia 8. These two models are expected to be powered by Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 660 chipset, which will slot them below the Nokia 9 in Nokia's smartphone line-up, reported India Today.

Nokia 7 is rumoured to come with a full HD display, while Nokia 8 is supposed to have a Quad HD display. Both are said to be run on Android Nougat out of the box.

Rumours are ripe in the market; however, it's always good to take them with a pinch of salt to avoid any kind of disappointment, as they might turn out to be false.
