A 34-year-old man has been arrested by Malaysian police for allegedly killing his girlfriend's son and stuffing his body inside a container that was discovered from his flat in Paya Nahu.

It was reported that the police were alerted about a quarrel in the flat unit at around 1:30 am on Thursday (24 November). On arrival, the officials learnt from the 26-year-old mother that the accused has beaten her four-year-old daughter and killed her son.

During the search operation, police discovered the body of the two-year-old son from a container in his flat. After initial investigations, it was revealed that the boy died on 9 November. Initial investigation revealed that the boy died on Nov 9. Meanwhile, the girl has been rushed to Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital.

Both the adults have been taken into custody and an investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder and Section 325 of the Penal Code for causing grievous hurt has been ordered, reported The Star.
