Adobe Analytics has revealed to IBTimes Singapore its 2017 predictions for the upcoming shopping holidays. The software company has an impressive breakdown of what types of products to buy on a specific shopping holiday.
Black Friday remains to be the perfect time to snag those sought-after products. According to the latest predictions of Adobe Analytics, the biggest price drop on November 24 will be on televisions with discounts as much as 23.7 per cent. Tablets, jewellery and appliances will also see a considerably big amount of price cuts by then.
For shoppers who are looking for the best deals on computers, Thanksgiving Day on November 23 will be a great time to buy them as Adobe predicts as much as 16 per cent discounts on those hardware goodies. Thanksgiving will also be a good time to grab apparel, sporting goods and video games and consoles. By this time, appliances, televisions and tablets could be off the market already due to high demands.
Cyber Monday on November 27, will be the best time to score good deals on toys with discounts expected to go as high as 19.1 per cent. The steepest price slash for furniture, bedding and pet products will happen on Giving Tuesday, November 28. Adobe notes, "some products will likely to be out-of-stock before they see major discounts."
For Christmas décor, shops are expected to offer the greatest deals on November 22 with average discounts of 22.7 per cent.
As for the most anticipated gift items, Adobe Analytics has its list of desirable electronics and toys on the radar. They include AirPods, PlayStation VR, Amazon Echo, Google Home, Nintendo Switch, Hasbro NERF Guns and Super Mario Odyssey. Top-sellers in 2016 like Moose's Toys' Shopkins and Spin Master Hatchimals are also expected to excel in numbers in 2017.
