A cholera outbreak in Yemen has infected nearly 250,000 people. The WHO warned of the unprecedented spread of the disease in the war-torn country. 1,500 deaths have been reported so far between April and June 2017 and every day an additional 5,000 new cases are reported. Almost half of all recorded cholera cases are children. Nearly 2 million children suffer from malnutrition, making them vulnerable for diseases.
