President Trump is very thankful to Vladimir Putin for expelling U.S. diplomats. Trump said that the Russian presidents decision helps him cut the governments payroll. Russia announced the US Embassy and consulates in the country would d cut 775 U.S. diplomatic and technical staffers, as a retaliation of the sanctions U.S. has put on Russia. Russia has set the number limit for US diplomatic staffers at 455, but the cut will likely start with locally hired Russian employees. U.S. diplomats who are relieved of their duties will likely be sent to other posts in the world.
