The Giants Bench veteran quarterback Eli Manning: Snapping a 210 game streak

The New York Giants coaches and management announced they will not start their veteran quarterback in their next game against the Oakland Raiders. Instead, Coach Bob McAdoo said he plans to evaluate backup Geno Smith, who will get the start. Manning had previously started 210 consecutive regular-season games, the second-most, ever, behind Brett Favre.
