More devices can now take advantage of this jailbreak, including iPhone 6s Plus, iPad Mini 4 and iPad Air 2. Of course, all devices should run on iOS 10.2.1 to jailbreak their devices with Saigon. Its initial release had only the iPhone 6s as the supported device.

One important fix Saigon let out is intended for the camera, which fails to launch after the jailbreak process. Additionally, there is a new option to reinstall Cydia for a more convenient experience.

Here are the official release notes of Saigon iOS 10.2.1 beta 2:

  • Fix for camera not working after jailbreaking
  • Support for iPhone 6s Plus/iPad Mini 4/iPad Air 2
  • Minor bug fixes and changes
  • Slightly better at escaping sandbox
  • Option to reinstall Cydia by holding 'jailbreak' button then tapping it again

So far, users have been satisfied by the update as it renders fewer crashes and forced reboots when using the Cydia Impactor tool. Download Saigon iOS 10.2.1 beta 2 from GitHub.
