Be careful about your lingerie! 26-year-old man arrested for stealing undergarments in Singapore

The police says that the investigations are going on. If convicted of theft, the suspect can be jailed for up to three years and/or fined.

A 26-year-old man was arrested by Singapore police for stealing female undergarments in Bedok, the authorities said on Friday. The suspect is believed to have done so on at least two occasions.

On Monday, the police were informed about a case of undergarment theft at Block 135, Bedok Reservoir Road. The Bedok Police Division officers investigated the case and identified the suspected with reference to footage from police cameras. Finally, the man, who was not named by police, was caught on Thursday along Bedok Reservoir Road.

Earlier this week, the suspect was also caught on camera in a video that went viral.

Stomp, the citizen journalism site, also cited a woman named Chen as saying that bras she placed on a clothes rack along the corridor started going missing one to two months ago. She later installed a camera outside her flat and posted the footage of the thief online.
