Angry South African commuters torch trains and riot at Cape Town railway station

Riots, looting and the burning of trains occurred at Cape Towns central train station on 12 June, after upset commuters were left stranded for hours after a signal failure. Not enough alternative transport was provided which left angry travelers clambering through the windows of buses to try to get onboard.
