A girl has been reunited with her family after being kidnapped by Isis three years ago. Iraqi security forces freed the almost six-year-old Christina Abada in west Mosul. Christina was taken from her Iraqi Christian family by an Isis fighter in August 2014. The family had been round up with other Christians when the militants captured Mosul. For the last three years the parents only heard rumours Christina was still alive. The girl appeared well looked after and was even wearing gold earrings. She seemed overwhelmed by the crowd gathered to greet her.
