Overview

The Group 1 clash between England and Sri Lanka will be the last Super 10 fixture of the former. They have already played three matches so far in the ICC T20 World Cup and have managed to seal victories over South Africa and Afghanistan.

England suffered a defeat at the hands of West Indies in the first match and a victory over Sri Lanka will seal them a place in the semi-final. However, a defeat will then see Eoin Morgan's side then depend on the result between South Africa v Sri Lanka.

Should South Africa beat Sri Lanka, then the team with better net run rate between the Proteas, the Lankans and England will go through to the last four of the tournament.
