'Mummified aliens' controversy again: Did extraterrestrials really live with us in past?

A set of 'alien mummies' discovered recently in Peru is now being claimed as real.

Did Extraterrestrial life forms exist on earth? Did Three-fingered and three-toed creatures once walked on the same surface like us?The latest discovery of some entirely different humanoid has taken the internet by storm. A set of 'alien mummies' discovered recently in Peru is now being claimed as real. The 1700-year-old mummies found in Nazca are the remains of "non-human beings", going by Edson Vivanco, a skeletal specialist.

The corpses having three fingers, elongated skull structure and three toes were previously claimed as fake by other scientists. Elongated skull structure can be a result of cranial deformation when children's heads used to be tightly bound using a rope or a cloth to change the shape of the skull during religious events. However, skeletal specialist Vivanco further reassures that a lot of details in the corpses confirm that they are real, as recreating the skull with special characteristics is a difficult task.

Amongst all the scientists who claim that they are fake, Vivanco is the first to sway away from the crowd. He confidently says that nothing in the corpses can be termed as "fraud" rather the team bears a lot of evidence, suggesting that the 1700-year-old corpses are actually for real and belong to some other non-human species.

"Right now, we are studying the evidence. And so far, we haven't found anything to say it is a fraud, or that the bodies have been modified or altered in any way. We have lots of evidence that sets us on the path to prove that this is real" he said.

However, many people are questioning the authenticity of the discovery. Viewers are claiming the mummified aliens to be carved out cardboards, made of plaster. Mainstream scientists claim that the creatures might have been created using stolen mummified remains which can be a serious offense. However, analysis of one of the remains shows that it contains 100 percent human DNA.

The World Congress on Mummy Studies said that they express "concern" over such claims."Mummy studies is a scientific discipline and there is no space for such claims #pseudoscience," they told the Express.

As many things are still buried deep in a different realm, beyond our knowledge and sanity, believers in E.T. cite this as one of them. Whether extraterrestrial life forms exist on Earth for real or not is still controversial. The discovery of the mummified aliens now triggers yet another scepticism as well.
