Latest iPhone 8 leaks have suggested that design of the upcoming flagship smartphone will have 4-millimetre bezels. The information is based on the images leaked showing the screen protector of the device.

New iPhone 8 rumours are suggested by Slashleaks showing off the screen protector of the device. The images reveal thin bezels around the display, measuring only 4 millimetres. This corroborates to previous details spilt by rounds of leaks.

Earlier this month on Reddit, a host of photos have been ostensibly showing off bezel-less components of the iPhone 8. This was supposedly thinner than Essential's PH-1 and Samsung's Galaxy S8 as Apple will be pushing its limits. However, it remains a mystery how the Cupertino conglomerate will integrate the speaker, light sensor, and the camera.

The front camera will be used for biometric identification as well. It can be noted that earlier this year Apple acquired RealFace, an Israeli firm specialising in accurate facial recognition technology. This technology is said to be used to strengthen the security of transactions in Apple Pay.

So far, leaks have been zeroing in on the physical design of iPhone 8. Previous leaks show Apple's supposed groundbreaking take on iPhone builds that has not been done by any mobile device manufacturer before.

As a 10th anniversary smartphone, the iPhone 8 will have 5.8 inches of OLED screen. Right inside the screen could be housing the Touch ID, according to speculations. There have been no details, nevertheless, how Apple will do that.

The iPhone 8 is expected to be launched in September alongside the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus.
