Singtel on Wednesday called for pre-registration of customers who would want to pre-order the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. Official pre-order date of these devices will commence on 27 October.

"The new iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X coming soon on Singtel! Pre-register for the new iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X now below and get the latest update on how to get your hands on one," reads Singtel's registration page for the devices.

Pre-order date is still more than a month away, but Singtel wants people interested to get any of the three smartphones to pre-register to ensure they can get the number necessary and deliver them as soon as possible. The trio has been predicted to sell out once pre-order arrives.

Singtel, however, warns people that pre-registering does not guarantee consumers to get the devices due to massive global demand. Nonetheless, it will keep pre-registrants posted on latest updates and promotions.

To register, one needs to input the NRIC/FIN number.

Amendment and transfer of pre-registration details to another person is not allowed. For multiple mobile lines under one name, they can be registered under the same NRIC, but registered interest is only allowed one for either iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus and one for iPhone X.

When registering interest, the preferred model has to be determined. In case a registrant changes his/her mind down the road, it will not be merited by the company.

Singtel has underscored that they will not be opening the pre-order to those who have not signed up for the pre-registration. Additionally, maximum of two units of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X will be allowed to one NRIC/FIN.
