'Fight My Way' has very little competition apart from its own. And now, the show has even broken its own record with the ratings in the latest episode.

Website Soompi notes, the sixth episode of the drama which aired on June 6, achieved the highest viewership rating for the drama. As per AGB Nielsen Korea, episode 6 acquired 11.4 percent rating, which is a 0.8 percent increase from the June 5 episode that recorded 10.6 percent.

'Fight My Way' thus maintains its top spot in the Monday-Tuesday 10.00 p.m. KST time slot. Soompi notes, 'My Sassy Girl' claimed 8.1 percent and 9.3 percent ratings for episodes 7 and 8 which aired back to back. MBC's 'Lookout' maintained its third spot with 7.1 percent and 7.7 percent for episode 11 and episode 12 airing back to back.

The success of the drama largely rests on its simple and relatable storyline of two best friends who struggle to survive in a big bad world while developing deeper feelings for each other. The chemistry between the lead pairs played by Park Seo-joon and Kim Ji-won is one of the most important contributing factors for the drama's success. The two actors are very close in real-life as well, as claimed by the chief producer of the drama.

"Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won are actually very close in real life, too. They are taking care of each other and cheering each other on. They are both committed to their characters. They have good chemistry in real life, and they're having a lot of fun while filming," the chief producer had revealed in a recent interview.

Viewers are waiting for the characters to eventually fall in love with each other. In fact, in a recent episode, Park Seo-joon's character Go Dong-man began coming to terms with his feelings for Kim Ji-won's Choi Ae Ra. Go Dong-man displayed jealousy when he told Choi Ae Ra that he does not like seeing her with Park Moo-bin, played by Choi Woo-shik.

Choi Ae Ra got confused and responded, "Why are you suddenly interested in my relationships?" To this, Go Dong-man replied, "I don't know, I just don't like it." It will be interesting to see how their relationship progresses in the coming episodes.

The next two episodes of 'Fight My Way' will air on June 12 and 13 respectively, t 10.00 p.m. KST, on KBS2 network.
