Chelsea are now looked as serious title contenders after they put one across rivals, Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, which was also their eighth consecutive Premier League win in the ongoing season. Despite conceding the lead at the stroke of half-time, Antonio Conte's men showed good character to comeback and take the match 3-1 last Saturday.

Chelsea's lack of European commitment has also made them dangerous in the ongoing league season. Conte has reportedly conceded that the Blues started the season as underdogs but that is now difficult for their side to accept the favourites tag.

The likes of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa have also adapted briliantly to Conte's 3-4-3 formation, which has made Chelsea a strong force. Notably, apart from scoring at will against top teams like Manchester United and Leicester City, they have also been solid at the back with six clean sheets from their last eight outings.

A win on Sunday will take them back to the top of the table and will give them a three-point lead over nearest rivals Arsenal, who now have 34 points. Chelsea though will be without Oscar and John Terry, who are ill and injury-ridden, respectively.

On the other hand, West Brom have had a solid season so far as they are placed eighth with 20 points from 14 games. They have been unbeaten in their last four games, which includes a 2-1 win over the defending champions on the road. Tony Pulis' side though have to be on top of their game if they are to stand a chance against the rampant Chelsea at the Bridge.
