Overview

The clash between Pakistan and Sri Lanka holds no importance as the two nations, along with the United Arab Emirates have already been eliminated from the 2016 Asia Cup. Both Pakistan and the Lankans have registered only one win so far in the tournament, which came against UAE, who have lost all four matches.

India progressed to the final after defeating Lasith Malinga's side in their third fixture, while Pakistan were eliminated after suffering a loss at the hands of host nation Bangladesh. The reigning T20 world champions, Sri Lanka and former world champions will be playing for pride on Friday.

It is the best time for these two teams to experiment with their playing XI, especially with the 2016 ICC T20 World Cup to kick start later this month in India.
