The tvN's new sci-fi drama, "Circle: Two Worlds Connected" is all set to premiere on May 22 and recently released new stills of the upcoming drama.

The new stills are of its characters hinting a little more about them. According to Soompi, in one of stills, Yeo Jin Goo and Gong Seung Yeon are seen sitting in front of their laptops. In another still, Yeo Jin Goo is seen gazing at Gong Seung Yeon in the school library.

The said thriller drama is divided into two parts, "Part 1: Beta Project" and "Part 2: An Amazing New World," and it takes place in 2017 and 2037, respectively. The drama promises to show narratives in two different generations at the same time, in the same episode. Yeo Jin Goo and Gong Seung Yeon will show off their chemistry in "Part One: Beta Project," which is set in 2017.

In the present timeline, Yeo Jin Goo plays the role of a college student when the aliens come to the earth and in the future, Kim Kang-woo plays the role of a police detective when the world is divided into two territories namely, utopian "Smart Earth" and the other one as "Ordinary Earth" that's still filled with suffering.

Recently, PD of the show, Min Jin Ki praised Yeo Jin Goo and said, "Because of his many years of experience, his aura and presence on set are unparalleled. He's an actor that can tell whole stories with just his eyes."

PD Min Jin Ki continued, "[Yeo Jin Goo's character] is a very complicated character and the sci-fi genre is not easy for most actors; however, Yeo Jin Goo makes very few mistakes and his near-perfect acting abilities make it impossible to imagine anyone else in that role."

The drama will air its first episode on May 22 at 11 p.m. KST.
