Park Bo Gum to show off his talents in graduation musical for his university

South Korean actor, Park Bo Gum will reportedly be showing off some of his musical talents in a graduation musical.

The actor's agency recently revealed, "Park Bo Gum will be participating in Myongji University's rendition of the musical 'Hairspray' as a member of the music department. He is currently practicing for the graduation performance with his fellow students."

In 2014, the 23-year old actor started attending Myongji University as a film and musical major. Since then, the actor remained dedicated to the course, and he even tries to attend all his classes, despite his busy schedule. He tried to complete it with much dedication and he will now soon graduate with a degree in musical theatre. Now, it is confirmed that he would even be taking part in his graduation play.

"With the news of his appearance going viral, Park Bo Gum felt sorry for his fellow colleagues taking part in the performance," read a statement from the media announcement, Soompi mentioned.

According to Dramafever, everyone involved in the event be it his fellow cast members, classmates, friends or family of the student body, have never been this excited for a school musical before.

Meanwhile, the actor recently took home the Popularity Award at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards.

In other news, in the upcoming 2017 Music Bank World Tour, Park Bo Gum and Red Velvet's Irene will reportedly host the music events. The Kpop singer and the Love in the Moonlight actor's chemistry were loved by the fans when they hosted KBS' Music Bank. However, they decided to leave the show due to their busy schedules.

According to Korea Herald, the two South Korean stars are ready to reunite at Music Bank World Tour, 2017. In a KBS announcement, it was revealed that Park Bo Gum and Irene will reprise their hosting roles for the tour.
