Two top Hallyu stars, Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo are now officially husband and wife. They tied the knot in a private ceremony on October 31, among family and close friends. Naturally, fans of the couple were extremely eager to catch a glimpse of the most talked-about wedding in South Korea, perhaps even the entire Asia. A number of official photos from their wedding ceremony have now been revealed for the world to see.

As noted by websites Allkpop and Soompi, Song Joong-ki's agency Blossom Entertainment and United Artistes Agency, which represents Song Hye-kyo, shared photos of the happily married couple on October 31, following their private wedding ceremony. A photo of the SongSong couple's wedding kiss also circulated widely online.

"We sincerely thank you for the interest and love you've shown in Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo's wedding. Amid good wishes from many people, their wedding went well. They will pay back everyone's love by living happily in the future. Please send your heartfelt good wishes and support for their future," a representative from the couple's respective agencies stated.

The representative revealed that at the wedding ceremony, Song Joong-ki's close friends, Lee Kwang-soo and Yoo Ah-in recited letters. Ock Joo-hyun sang the congratulatory song. This was followed by Park Hyung-sik singing "Two People" while Park Bo-gum played the piano. Watch the clip below.

The representative also revealed that a long-time friend of Song Joong-ki acted as the Master of Ceremonies (MC) at the wedding. However, the MC's identity hasn't been revealed yet. We previously speculated that it could be actor Jo In-sung.

Some of the other celebrity guests to attend the wedding included, but were not limited to, 'Descendants of the Sun' and 'Fight My Way' actress Kim Ji-won, 'Running Man' members Kim Jong-kook, Yoo Jae-suk, Ji Suk-jin. Park Hyung-sik, Park Bo-young, Cha Tae-hyun, Kim Min-suk, So Ji-sub, screenwriter Kim Eun-sook and Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi also attended.

Zhang Ziyi was even spotted dancing, following the wedding ceremony, as noted by Allkpop. The actress who appeared in the sequel to 'Rush Hour' was seen dancing with Yoo Ah-in. A clip recorded by a Chinese MC can be viewed below.

Apart from the official photos, netizens have heavily criticised Chinese media outlets including Ifeng, for taking photos of the SongSong couple's private wedding via drones and posting them online. Allkpop notes that Ifeng and others even live streamed the entire wedding. As per Kookmin Ilbo, some Chinese reporters even booked rooms at The Shilla hotel in Seoul. They took rooms that gave them a clear view of the ceremony happenning below.

It was last winter that Song Joong-ki proposed to Song Hye-kyo, in Japan. The actress reportedly cried following her co-star's proposal. They chose to keep their relationship a secret till July, when the SongSong couple officially announced they were engaged to be married.

It has also been reported that the SongSong couple will now head to Europe for their honeymoon. They also purchased a home in the Itaewon neighbourhood of Seoul, where they plan to reside after the wedding festivities conclude.
