A Louisville building company thought they had been robbed after they found a window had been smashed on the weekend. When they reviewed the security tapes they realised the culprit was furrier than expected. Apparently, a goat had taken a dislike in the companys windows. It may have seen its reflection in the windows and tried to attack the other goat. According to an employee the vandal is still on the loose.
Three people had to be evacuated from a small plane after it crashed into Lake Travis, near Starnes Island, Texas. None of the plane passengers sustained serious injuries. The plane later sank into the water. It is the second time this month that a plane crashed into Lake Travis.
Violent clashes between masked youths and National Guard troops erupted in Caracas after a Democratic Unity coalition march on the Supreme Court was blocked by security forces. A 23-year-old musician famous for playing his violin in the midst of clashes was injured. Wuilly Arteaga tweeted a video from his hospital bed still clutching his violin. The opposition is accusing President Nicolás Maduro of attempting to turn the country into a dictatorship. More than 100 people have died in violent protests against Maduro since April.
Authorities in Texas are hunting for a human-trafficking gang after eight people were found dead in the back of a tractor-trailer parked at a Walmart lot in San Antonio on early Sunday (23 July).
A video shows the collapse of a Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar. Visitors gasped as they saw the structure slide into the Ayeyarwaddy River. The Thiri Yadana Pyilone Chantha Pagoda was destroyed around 4:30pm. According to officials, continuous heavy rain caused the river to rise. The water may then have weakened the base of the pagoda.
Who knew cows were fans of traditional Irish music? Musician Sharon Shannon found out when she played an impromptu concert for the animals. Some of the cows immediately stopped grazing as they heard Shannons button accordion. Others join in as the cows edged closer and closer to the musician. Completely mesmerized they almost came within touching distance and one brave cow even dared to lick Shannons leg as a thank you.

Bodycam footage shows the moment a Minneapolis police officer shot and injured two dogs. The dogs were in the backyard when police responded to a home burglary.The dogs owners say the attending police officer did not knock on the front door before entering the backyard. The officer claimed he opened fire after the two pitbulls charged at him. Both CCTV footage of the owners and the bodycam video shows the dogs approaching cautiously friendly. The dogs are physician-prescribed emotional support animals for the sons of the owners suffering from anxiety. They are planning to take legal action against the police.
Michael Jacksons former chimpanzee is making a splash in the art world. 34-year-old Bubbles and other apes living at a Florida rescue centre exhibited paintings at a Miami art gallery. The Center for Great Apes rehabilitates 48 orangutans and chimpanzees rescued from a life of forced performances. Painting is one of the activities used to stimulate the overly trained apes. The money raised from the sale of the paintings will contribute in the maintenance of the center.
A dog that appeared to be unresponsive after being rescued from a house fire was revived by Bakersfield firefighters on July 19. This footage shows the dog being carried from the property and an oxygen mask being placed over its nose.
Following the announcement of Minneapolis Police Chief Janee Harteaus resignation protesters called for Minneapolis mayor Betsy Hodges to step down as well. Harteau resigned after a police officer fatally shot 40-year-old Australian Justine Damond. Damond had called the police herself to report a possible sexual assault in her neighbourhood.
