Former I.O.I members Choi Yoo-jung and Kim Do-yeon, who recently debuted with Fantagio girl group Weki Meki, in Seoul, had some words of inspiration for their Produce 101 hoobaes (juniors in experience), Wanna One.

As noted by website Koreaboo, during the debut showcase in Seoul, Choi Yoo-jung and Kim Do-yeon were asked by the host of the event to offer some advice to members of newly debuted boy group Wanna One. The former I.O.I members had some inspirational words for their juniors.

Choi Yoo-jung advised Wanna One members to always be true to themselves, saying, "Fans truly liked every single thing I did. So don't hide your true self and show them who you really are, then you'll be able to extend your popularity now into the future."

On the other hand, Kim Do-yeon asked them to take ample care of themselves, saying, "It must be an incredibly busy time right now, so I think it's important to find a balance between your stamina and mental health. I hope that they promote with control over their stamina and mental health."

As noted by Soompi, the name of the eight-member girl group commonly known as the i-Teen Girls, was revealed to be Weki Meki, on July 6, via a press release from Fantagio.

As for Wanna One, Koreaboo noted that soon after debut, the boy group has become one of the most popular in South Korea at the moment. It was revealed that over 20,000 fans waited for hours outside the Gocheok Sky Dome to attend their debut showcase and concert on August 7, 2017.

Wanna One's debut title track "Energetic" scored a real time all-kill, which is said to be a rare feat. The title song "Energetic" was originally composed by Hui of Pentagon and FlowBlow, with lyrics written by Hui and Wooseok of Pentagon, noted Soompi, on August 3. Hui reacted to the news excitedly, saying, "After 'Never,' it is really amazing and surprising to have 'Energetic' be chosen as the title song."

Hui had also noted, "While I was writing, all I thought about was music. I'm so happy because the time I spent working was not in vain. I want to thank Wanna One who worked so hard to record the song. Going forward, I will apply myself in all aspects to gain recognition as both a singer and a composer."

With a composer like Hui and with blessings of Yoojung and Doyeon, it appears Wanna One is on the proper road to success.
