Park Hae Jin's philanthropy continues, secretly donates to stop child poverty in China

The actor has donated 10 million KRW in association with his Chinese fan club 'Sea Breeze' to fight against child poverty.

Actor Park Hae Jin's was honoured with the 2017 Metropolitan Seoul Mayor's Award for Community Service recently for his philanthropic activities. The Man to Man is known for doing a slew of briquette community works over the years. Now, reportedly, the actor has donated 10 million KRW (~$8865 USD) in association with his Chinese fan club 'Sea Breeze' to fight against child poverty. The campaign is organised by China's Fund Management Committee and QQ public portal site.

A report on Hello Kpop stated that Have Jin had made the donations secretly, however, the information was leaked after the Fund Management Committee issued out certificates. So far the actor had donated a total sum of 1,700,000,000 KRW (~ 1,500,00 USD) to rural areas fighting poverty in Seoul, the Sewol Ferry fund, the Children's Restoration Hospital fund, the earthquake relief fund, and more since 2011.

On the career front, the actor has wrapped up the big screen version of his hit drama Cheese in the Trap and is getting ready to play as quadruplet brothers in his upcoming drama tentatively titled Four Sons. Reportedly, the filming will begin by November and will be aired on SBS in the first half of 2018. The pre-filmed drama is a mystery thriller that revolves around a female detective who discovers the quadruple brothers of the man she loved.

The drama will also have After School's Nana and Kwak Si Yang in important roles. Kawk will appear as the protective guardian of the female lead.
