Republican Senator Ted Cruz caught on Twitter after he "liked" an explicit pornographic video. The Holier-than-thou Christian libertarian and former Presidential nominee Ted Cruz "liked" a shocking footage from an explicit website, which features a woman performing an act of self-love whilst watching a couple performing sexual acts.

PornHub identified the X-rated actress as Cory Chase.

The video sent shock amongst people, who did not refrain from criticising him. However, it is not confirmed if it was Ted Cruz himself who liked the post, or if his account was being used by someone else.

Nevertheless, the activity went viral on social media. Twitter reactions went berserk.

Cruz's spokeswoman Catherine Frazier soon addressed the Senator's Twitter activity and said,"The offensive tweet posted on @tedcruz account earlier has been removed by staff and reported to Twitter."

Frazier mistakenly said the video was posted to Cruz's account, not liked.

Ted Cruz, during his days as a Texas Solicitor General (2003 to 2008), was an advocate for banning sex toys. That did not end well.

A statement issued in February 2008, where the Court of Appeals told Cruz's office to take a hike, goes like this," The sale of a device that an individual may choose to use during intimate conduct with a partner in the home is not the 'sale of sex' (prostitution)." This implied that if a person is not into gaining sexual pleasures from illegal sex workers, but from these toys, it is at their own discretion and the State has no reason to intervene.

During the Presidential Elections, Cruz called current US President Donald Trump "utterly amoral", which now makes the masses question his integrity, whether he is any better. At the time then-Candidate Trump tweeted: "How can Ted Cruz be an Evangelical Christian when he lies so much and is so dishonest?"

The two eventually did make their peace, after Trump's shocking win.
