iPhone 7 Lightning EarPods remote and Lightning to 3.5mm adapter intermittently stop working: Is there a fix?

Apple is still working on a fix for the connectivity problems with the Lightning to 3.5mm adapter and the remote for Lightning EarPods.

iPhone 7 has been plagued with numerous issues ever since its launch as some users are reporting that the remote of Lightning EarPods and Lightning to 3.5mm adapter will intermittently stop working after brief inactivity when the accessory is plugged into the iPhone. Consequently, users are forced to reconnect the adapter or the EarPods to the phone for resuming music playback via the remote.

Apple has already acknowledged this issue and started working on the development of a bug-fix update while some users have also reported connectivity issues with the bundled Lightning EarPods. Quite surprisingly, a few third-party accessories like the JBL Lightning earphones are not affected with this issue.

With Apple being aware of the ensuing issues with the iPhone 7, a quick iOS bug-fix update is definitely on the cards. Not to mention, the company is also working on fixing the 'No Service' bug on iPhone 7 running on certain mobile networks like AT&T and T-Mobile.
