Did you know, Boy Band group EXO has turned five—yet, they still remain to be the best sellers in K-pop with back-to-back records. Well, to celebrate their fifth year, the boy band made an unexpected V Live broadcast for fans. The team is currently in Macao to perform at the YinYueTai V-Chart Awards.

The group, sans Lay, waited until the clock turned midnight to celebrate their fifth anniversary. They revealed that they are currently enjoying their time together while also preparing for the much-hyped comeback. The live video was a treat to watch as the team kept joking and interrupting each other.

So how are the boys keeping themselves busy—Sehun seems to be obsessed with an old-school computer while Beakhyun is also into gaming. Xiumin is busy with the preparation of his first pitch for LG Twins where D.O is on a much-needed break after wrapping up the shoot of his latest film. As we all know, Kai is busy with the filming of his Japanese drama.

The team also introduced their longtime manager Noh Yong Min during the live video. "We were happy these last five years. Truthfully, there were sad moments and happy moments, but I think we were able to be happy to this day because we've shared all of them together. We want to thank you. It's our fifth anniversary. Now that we're five years old, we still have 10, 15, 20, 50? Years ahead of us left...We have the rest of our concerts. All that's left is for us to show you have how hard we've been preparing. Thank you so much for always loving EXO, including Lay who was unable to be here, and we hope you will continue to love us," Suho thanked his fans (as translated by Soompi).

Of course, fans seemed to have missed Lay, who had to opt out of the tour due to his hectic schedules. But he made up by opting a series of selfies through Weibo.

We Wish the boy band a very happy fifth anniversary! Do let us know your favourite EXO pick!
