Chelsea Handler had recently announced that she is ending her Netflix talk show, Chelsea. The comedian had revealed the news on her Instagram.

"Like so many across the country, the past presidential election and the countless events that have unfolded since have galvanized me. From the national level down to the grassroots, it's clear our decisions at the ballot box next year will mark a defining moment for our nation," she wrote.

"For these reasons, I've decided not to return for another season of Chelsea, and instead devote as much time as I can to becoming a more knowledgeable and engaged citizen and to focus on projects that have significance to me," she added.

According to a report in Radar Online, the Hop star's fall out with Jennifer Aniston is one of the reasons for the show to go off air. A source said: "Chelsea wasn't funny anymore. Netflix signed up for a funny show. She was bitter and mean."

"Netflix was fine with Chelsea doing a political show as long as it was funny or biting, but it wasn't. She wasn't as good as the other people doing politics. Samantha Bee and Stephen Colbert do it right. Chelsea didn't," the insider added.

Many reports had recently emerged that the former Friends star and the 42-year-old American comedian, are no longer in good terms with each other. The source went on: "Maybe that fight [with Aniston] had something to do with it. She was used to getting top people but then they stopped coming on her show."

"Netflix wanted her to deliver A-list stars and she wasn't. She couldn't find who she really was and the stories she wanted to tell weren't told in an interesting light," the insider shared.
