In the latest survey, Singapore was ranked one of the least exciting among 32 cities from around the world.

Singapore stood at 31 in its anonymous survey of 15,000 urbanites from around the globe, according to Time Out's City Life Index 2018 which was published on Tuesday.

The survey ranked cities based on what city-dwellers around the world were feeling, thinking, eating, drinking, and doing for fun.

The city-state was the worst rated city when it comes to culture and the worst for drinking apart from Dubai.

However, it scored well for safety and public transport, and it has a much buzzier restaurant scene than other cities towards the bottom of the ranking.
