Telecom company faces backlash after posting Song Joong Ki's ads on subway floor

Chinese netizens are quite agitated on the doings and are threatening the company for an apology

Song Joong Ki's well wishers are wretched to see their favorite hallyu star on the subway floors. A cell phone firm has reportedly imprinted Joong Ki's face on the floors of the metro, in order to promote their brand.

Telecom company, Vivo, is been highly criticized for their bad taste in ad placement. The fans are disappointed with the brand's act, and marks the promotional activity as disrespectful and defaming.

According to a report in Allkpop, Chinese netizens are quite agitated on the doings and are seeking an apology from the company. A fans said: "If you don't make a public apology, then we will shut down your stores."

Folowing the backash, the phone company has extended an apology, with orders to remove the advertisement on immediate effect. Vivo responded: "We have noticed the seriousness of the inappropriate subway ads, and have sent people to take them down over night. We promise not to make such happenings again."
