SBS's upcoming pre-produced drama While You Were Asleep starring Suzy Bae and Lee Jong Suk will reportedly be wrapping up filming and will be preparing to air in September.

According Soompi, a source from the drama industry revealed, "We are currently in the last stages of filming. We encountered some delays after beginning to film in the beginning of the year, but we are planning on wrapping everything up by the middle of this month."

Reportedly, the upcoming drama is a story of a woman played by Suzy, who has the power to foresee adverse events in her dreams. The role of prosecutor is played by Lee Jong Suk who tries his best to prevent all those events from happening.

The character of Lee Jong Suk is an emotionless and unsociable prosecutor known as Jung Jae Chan. He is a person who, during his middle school days, was always placed last in class. However, he works hard just to live up to the expectations of his father.

On the other hand, Suzy's character is of a jobless person who leaves her house very rarely. Her character's name is Nam Hong Joo, who has this special power to foresee things, ever since she was little. Events from her dreams take place in real life which always makes her feel anxious. She feels that the best thing to do is to avoid the adverse events because she believes she can do nothing to change them.

The drama is written by Park Hye Ryun who is known for the screenwriting of "I Hear Your Voice," "Dream High," "Pinocchio," and more. As both the actors have worked with the screenwriter previously, fans are looking forward to see what they will be creating this time.

The source also mentioned that the said drama will premiere late-September after Into the New World (tentative title) which is to air after Suspicious Partner ends its run, as both of them are 20-episode dramas. However, the upcoming drama While You Were Asleep will be a 16-episode project.
