The THAAD issue closed the prospect for the Korean actors to star in new commercials for Chinese products and it includes the Descendants of the Sun actor Song Joong-ki who used to endorse the Vivo phones in China. However, the actor recently got a new partner, and has become one of the endorsers of an online marketplace known as, 11th Street, in Thailand.

According to the reports, the Running Man actor will be paired with a Thai actress Mew Nittha, with whom the actor made an appearance in Bangkok for a store launch, in February. It was during the same time that Joong Ki's dear friend Park Bo Gum was also in Bangkok for his fan-meet and the My Fair Lady actor came as a special guest into the event.
