Trump urges Muslim leaders to drive out the terrorists

US President Donald Trump urged Muslim nations to tackle extremists in their own backyard as he delivered a speech in front of leaders from 40 Middle Eastern countries in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Sunday (21 May). Drive them out of this earth, the US president declared. He added that the countries cannot wait for America to take the lead in fighting terrorism and that each country has to fulfil their part of the burden.

Watch as firefighters stop man from jumping off building

Firefighters saved a man from committing suicide. The intoxicated man was sitting on a window ledge threatening to jump. The rescuers tried to calm him down for 10 minutes without success. One of the firefighters managed to grab the mans arm in the last second. They managed to drag him back into the building to safety.

8 injured after passenger jet collides with utility truck at Los Angeles airport

Eight people were injured in a collision between a plane and a utility truck at LAX airport. The truck was flipped over when the Aeromexico flight crashed into it on a taxiway.Two people in the truck were seriously hurt, and six people suffered minor injuries. The right wing of the aircraft was damaged in the crash.None of the 149 passengers and crew on board were hurt. The cause of the crash is still unclear.

Wikileaks Julian Assange remains wanted by UK police despite dropped rape investigation by Sweden

Even though Sweden dropped the rape investigation against Wikileaks founder Julian Assange, he isnt exactly walking free. In 2012, Assange took refuge in the Ecuadorean Embassy in London to avoid extradition to Sweden over rape allegations. By doing so, Assange violated his bail conditions set by the UK and he still has an arrest warrant out. Assange has feared Sweden or the UK would hand him over to the US to face prosecution over one of the largest classified military and diplomatic document leaks in US history.
