A driver has been left in a critical condition after losing control of their car and crashing into the roof of a house. The St Louis Fire Department was called out to the unoccupied house on 16 July, and found a car on the top of a house. The vehicle was apparently travelling at high speeds when the driver lost control, sending the vehicle airborne and into the roof. The owner of the house was at the gym when the incident occurred.

Three people, including a child, were injured in a car crash at an Oakland crosswalk. A young woman, her cousin and younger brother were crossing the road when a car plowed into them without slowing down. The five-year-old boy was taken into intensive care with spinal injuries.
