Singer-actor Seo In Guk's official contract with Jellyfish Entertainment came to an end recently. After the terminations, there is a widespread speculation on whether he will renew his contract or looking for other options. Now, it has been confirmed that the actor has signed up with BS Company.

In an official press statement, Seo clarified the news. He also commented, "I will show better sides of myself in the future with my new agency. I will greet you with various activities soon, so please look forward to it." (as transited by Soompi).

Recently, Seo fractured his ankle just four days after his military enlistment. As a result, he was under treatment for few weeks. On April 27, the actor underwent a medical re-evaluation but was asked to wait for further results. Then, again on June 5, he underwent another round of examination at the Central Physical Examination Centre of Military Manpower Administration.

Unfortunately, the Reply 1997 star was diagnosed with Osteochondritis dissecans in his left ankle bone, which was listed under grade five health ranking that would exempt him from his military duties. Following this Seo has been exempted from mandatory military service due to his health issues.

Soon after the issue, there was an array of controversy accusing Seo of taking advantage of his health issue to opt out from the military. A report on Osen stated that the singer-actor knew of his medical condition and wanted neglected treatment to get an exemption. A statement was immediately released to clarify that Seo was keen to take up the military task and was indeed disappointed after failing the medical examination twice. "We'd like to reiterate that Seo In Guk did not neglect treatment knowing that he would be exempted, nor did he purposefully make it worse to receive a level five exemption," the statement noted.
