Actors Park Seo-joon and Kim Ji-won had undeniable chemistry both on-screen and off it, while filming KBS2's 'Fight My Way,' as various footages revealed. This has led to rumours that the two might be dating in real life. However, Se-joon says it is not so.

As noted by website Soompi, 'Hwarang' actor Park Seo-joon sat down for an interview where he talked about acting with Kim Ji-won and BTS's V. Regarding the rumours about him dating Kim Ji-won, the actor laughed and said, "We are not dating. It's not like that."

Seo-joon said he believes that the dating rumours started from the notes he and Kim Ji-won wrote on each other's scripts. "Dong Man, I love you," wrote Kim Ji-won, while Seo-joon wrote, "Ae Ra, I love you." The 'Hwarang' actor revealed that every time he finishes a project, he always exchanges some notes with his partner. The notes make it clear that the actors were referring to each other's characters and not themselves.

A certain degree of comfort, familiarity and friendliness between the leads of such projects is standard practise and leads to better, more believable chemistry between the characters on-screen. Park Seo-joon confirmed this, saying, "Before the drama was confirmed, we purposely met up because we have to do well together. She really worried a lot because it is her first lead role." He then added, "However, the worries disappeared as we worked together."

Park Seo-joon also said that he, like most, enjoyed 'Descendants of the Sun' and for him, the most memorable scene was when Kim Ji-won's character took the initiative to kiss with Jin Goo's character.

In any case, their on-screen pairing in 'Fight My Way' was a success and the 'Midnight Runners' actor is already looking forward to another collaboration with her recent leading lady. "On my personal feelings, I can say that she was amazing. I want to work with her again, and I hope we can do so in a few years," he said.

As regards BTS's V, Seo-joon said he doesn't think of him as an idol or a star because that would create distance between them. "We all got really close while filming for KBS drama 'Hwarang.' Not just Tae Hyung (V's birth name), but also Minho and Hyung Sik. I'm not sure how they are seen from the surface, but if you meet them in real life, they are very easygoing friends," Seo-joon revealed.

Seo-joon added that he likes to meet people first rather than form preconceived ideas about them. "Not just for idols, but that's how I always am. There are rumours about people, but whether they are good or bad, I feel the need to meet them first. People could also have preconceptions about me, and knowing that others could be thinking of me like that, I believe that I should not do the same," the 28 year-old actor said.
