Google has just released the June 2016 security updates via factory images and OTA zip files for a bunch of Nexus devices running on Android 6.0.1. The Nexus devices which are getting this new update along with the relevant build numbers are listed below:

  • Pixel C - MXC89H
  • Nexus 6P - MTC19V
  • Nexus 5X - MTC19V
  • Nexus 6 - MOB30M
  • Nexus Player - MOB30M
  • Nexus 9 LTE - MOB30M
  • Nexus 9 Wi-Fi - MOB30M
  • Nexus 5 - MOB30M
  • Nexus 7 2013 Wi-Fi - MOB30M

According to Google's June security report, the latest update brings six critical security fixes while four of them are specific to Qualcomm driver privilege elevation vulnerabilities.
