Less than a day remains before Lee Min-ho begins his mandatory military enlistment starting May 12. It seems the actor spend some quality time at Jeju island, shooting a pictorial for a brand amid nature's beauty in Jeju island.

Website Allkpop notes that cosmetics brand 'Innisfree' shot a series of photos with 'The Legend of the Blue Sea' actor, showing him posing in Jeju Island's green tea fields, rapeseed fields, and its pebbly beach.

The South Korean cosmetics brand uses natural and organic ingredients derived from Jeju Island and are certified by France's ECOCERT organization. The name of the brand references W.B. Yeats's poem 'The Lake Isle of Innisfree.' Lee Min-ho has modelled for 'Innisfree' earlier as well.

It was confirmed earlier in May, that Lee Min-ho would begin his military duties from May 12 at Gangnam district of Seoul, Soompi noted. On May 8, a series of photos from another commercial advertisement of his was released.

As for Lee Min-ho's public service, on April 18, a source from MYM Entertainment told news outlets, "He received the public service worker verdict due to his car accidents in 2006 and 2011." He also revealed that the actor is planning on enlisting quietly.

As noted by Soompi, an interview of the actor appeared in the May issue of @star1 magazine where Lee Min-ho revealed his thoughts on his enlistment. "I thought I would be totally cool with it and I thought it would be nothing. But I do feel a bit sad, too," he said, adding, "It's not about the fact that I have to enlist that makes me sad, but the fact that I'm at the end of my 20s."

However, Lee Min-ho said that it was a blessing that he did not have to enlist earlier. "If I'd gone early, I wouldn't have been cast in 'Boys Over Flowers' and my 20s probably wouldn't have been as happy. I personally think that going later was a good choice for me."

The actor humbly added, "I'm lucky to have acted during a great era and I was able to get a lot of love overseas, and I'm happy that I was able to contribute to hallyu in my own way."

In the same interview the actor had also said that leading a tough routine life in the military was going to be challenging indeed. Lee Min-ho also addressed his supporters, saying, "I feel all the fans' sadness and their support. I'd like to come back healthy and heal them again with a great project."
