KBS changes time slot of Friday-Saturday shows: Aims to provide youthful channel for viewers

KBS will create a new Friday-Saturday drama slot for the young viewers.

The broadcasting company KBS recently announced a change in their schedule. It will create a new Friday-Saturday drama slot for the young viewers.

According to Soompi, the company stated, "KBS 2TV aims to provide a youthful channel for viewers in the ages between 20 and 40, and we will be introducing new programs and schedules in June."

The report also mentioned that the first project that will take this slot is "Greatest One-Shot" (working title). The project will reportedly be helmed by the producing directors (PD) Seo Soo Min and Yoo Ho Jin. It is all set to be aired on June 2 at 11 p.m. KST.

The upcoming drama for the youths revolves around the story of young people in their twenties and the kind of highs and lows of life.

It has also been reported that not only there will be a new drama slot on Friday-Saturday but also "Battle Trip" show will get a time slot of 90 minutes per episode. The travel variety program which originally used to air at 10:40pm KST will be airing at 9:15pm KST from June 3 for 90 minutes.

KBS stated, "Battle Trip plans to continue to captivate viewers as an informative and fun travel program that the whole family can enjoy."

Also, "Entertainment Weekly" has been shifted from Saturday to Friday. From June 2, the show will be airing on Fridays at 8:55 p.m. KST.
