Fans of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt might not be happy with this news. The couple have reportedly no plans to reunite.

According to a report in In Touch Weekly, the 53-year-old actor wants to single again. A source said: "Brad is planning on asking his lawyer to speed up the divorce."

"Restoring his status to a single person isn't about Brad going out on the town and dating, but about his beginning a new chapter," the insider added.

"There has been little progress in getting close to a settlement. Brad has had enough. He's ready to officially take back control of his life. His life has been at a standstill while he's spent a year appeasing Angelina. He wants to move on to the next phase of his life without having his hands tied by her — and he wants it soon," the source shared.

Previously, during a recent interview with GQ, Pitt revealed his priority right now are the couple's children. He said: "Family first. People on their deathbeds don't talk about what they obtained or were awarded."

"They talk about their loved ones or their regrets—that seems to be the menu. I say that as someone who's let the work take me away. Kids are so delicate. They absorb everything. They need to have their hand held and things explained. They need to be listened to. When I get in that busy work mode, I'm not hearing. I want to be better at that," Pitt added.
