BIGBANG's Taeyang, CL, and Oh Hyuk have confirmed their participation in tvN's upcoming musical entertainment program. Though the title of the show hasn't decided yet, the program will showcase the lives of the three musicians including their daily routine, fashion preferences, music choices and much more.
An official from YG Entertainment clarified the news to Sports Chosun and said, "We are pursuing the project in strict compliance. More details regarding the title will be revealed soon." Meanwhile, the program has finished its first filming schedule and will be aired in November.
On the other hand, in another news, celebrities like Rain, Hwang Chi Yeul, Jo Hyun Ah and San E have confirmed as mentors for another upcoming reality show, The Unit. San E uploaded a picture of the mentors on his Instagram page and wrote, "My first impression of 'The Unit' mentors at our first KBS company get-together. Hwang Chi Yeol is affectionate, Jo Hyun Ah's just always like a 19-year-old to me, Rain is a legend, and San E…hmm…what am I? What do you guys think I am?"
KBS-produced The Unit was originally titled The Final 99 Match. The program aims at providing a platform for aspiring idols. The program has an extraordinary audition program and is made with a whopping budget of 1 billion won. The Unit is likely to be aired on October 28. The first recording will take place at the Kintex Hall 9 in Ilsan on September 29, 30, and October 1.
