Avid CyanogenMod and Android Nougat fans are in for a double delight as the industrious custom ROM developers have just released the Android 7.1 update for six more devices with an impending roll out being announced for the Nexus 4.

Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 are among the ageing devices, which are being revived with the arrival of CyanogenMod 14.1 Nightly builds that bring Android 7.1 Nougat experience to older handsets.

Nexus 5 owners will be forced to install the Qualcomm drivers via Code Aurora Forums for greater stability with Nougat update. However, the trade-off should be worth it, thanks to the release of CM 14.1 Nightly ROM.
