The person who was behind the decision to force out Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook from the Running Man show is allegedly the Producer (PD) Gong Hee Chul.

When reports of Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook departure started fans were at a state of shock. Things turned sour when people got to know that Song Ji Hyo and Kim Jong Kook too had no idea that they were being removed and only got to know from the media.

Though, the producers apologized later. It was deeply hurting for both of them as well as for the fans. Later, the producers and the cast members had a meeting and the official ending the show was announced soon after that. The show will end in February, 2017.

According to Koreaboo, a person who is close to Kim Jong Kook began tweeting with much obvious references towards SBS and Running Man, and called them "Shady" and people having "No Loyalty".

Koreaboo revealed that James "Tiny" Kim appears to be an old friend of Kim Jong Kook and he often meets the cast members of Running Man when they visit the US.

This very person has revealed in a "semi-cryptic tweet" indicating that the person behind Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo removal is a producer named Gong Hee Chul.

The tweet is now deleted but only after the fans saw and now a hashtag has begun which is being repeatedly being seen posted on Running Man's Instagram accounts. The fans are too accusing Gong Hee Chul for the entire controversy.

There is no proof that Gong Hee Chul is behind the whole controversy and it is he who decided to remove the two members from Running Man but the fans are furious and posts on the Instagram accounts of SBS, blaming Gong Hee Chul and demanding to fire him immediately.
